Management Advisory Committee, 1957-1988
The Management Committee was charged with recommending positions and making
decisions on matters delegated by the Corporate Office. The committee was responsible
for Corporate and Operating Unit Plans, new or revised corporate policies, organization
structure and recommendations, management practices, mission and business scopes,
facilities, resolution of inter-group differences, other committee activities
review, and representing the corporation both internally/externally on matters
designated by the corporate office.
Membership was appointed by the corporate office. The committee name changed
from Management Advisory Committee (est. 1957) to Management Committee sometime
between the late 1960s and 1973.
