Eldon Worley


Eldon Worley, a graduate of Oregon State University, worked at IBM for 28 years, and is considered the "father" of the IBM RACF mainframe security product.(1)(2) He contributed to the release of the original RACF release code, and numerous enhancements, including passwords, Global access, RACF address space, and the RACF Remote Sharing enhancement. He was also involved with the review process of RACF's "Orange Book" B1 security enhancements. He is currently the Senior Product Architect at Vanguard, an independent commercial security software and consulting firm that contracts with financial institutions, insurance companies, government agencies, and many others.(3)
