Notice: On June 30, 2016, UMWiki service will be decommissioned. If you have information in UMWIki that needs to be preserved, you should make plans to move it before that date. Google Sites is anticipated to be the most popular and appropriate alternative for users because it offers a more modern and user-friendly interface and unlimited capacity. To learn more about the features of Google Sites and other alternatives, and to identify which one best fits your needs, see the University’s Website Solution Selection Guide. If you have concerns or would like help regarding this change and your options, please contact Technology Help at help@umn.edu

IEEE Security & Privacy

IEEE Security & Privacy is a peer-reviewed magazine co-published by the IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE Reliability Society. The magazine features research articles, case studies, and other contributions to the study and dissemination of the many aspects of security and dependability in the use of computer systems. These aspects include legal and ethical issues, methods for developing and assessing secure systems, cryptology, privacy concerns, and other topics of interest to the magazine's technically-oriented readers. IEEE Security & Privacy focuses upon articles of interest to a general audience, encouraging authors of narrowly-focused technical articles, and articles that lack empirical support or real-world deployment, to seek publication in one of the IEEE's more focused publications, such as IEEE Transactions on Reliability or IEEE Transactions on Secure and Dependable Systems. In addition to peer-review, all submissions to IEEE Security & Privacy are subject to professional copy-editing to ensure a common level of content and style.(1)
